750 kV Rivne – Kyiv High Voltage Line construction

The following notice updates the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which was published in Procurement Opportunities, Ref. 6674-GPN-37598 of 11.07.2007.

State enterprise “National Power Company Ukrenergo” or NPC “Ukrenergo” has received the loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) toward financing part of the cost of the 750 kV OHL – Rivne NPP/Khmelnytsk NPP to Kyiv Substation Lines Project (the “Project”).

The proposed Project, which has a total estimated cost of around EUR 365 million (w/o VAT), requires the procurement of the following goods, works and services:

a) Lot 1.  Design (detailed design for construction and land allocation project), Construction, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 353 km of HVL 750 kV Rivne NPP – ST Kievska.

b) Lot 2. Design (detailed design for construction and land allocation project), Construction, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 135 km diversion of HVL 750 kV Khmelnitsk NPP – Chernobyl NPP to ST 750 kV Kievska.

c) Lot 3. Expansion and modernisation of SS Kyivska through installation of the second AT 750/330 kV

d) Lot 4. Construction of two 60 km 330 kV lines from 750/330 kV Kyiv substation

e) Consultancy services for Project Implementation Unit assistance and Lender’s Engineer.

Tendering for the contracts from the above list started in 2010 (Lots 1 and 2) and expected to be finished by Q3-2011. Procurement of goods and services listed above will be carried out following the results of open tender processes.
